So for the first real contented article of the site, its one from nearly one year ago next month off the top of the backlogged pile! Back on the 18th of October 2008, the Matix team passed through Milton Keynes on there “Finally Eur’Up” tour across Europe. After a drooling 4 1/2 hour drive we arrived at the roaring crowds of people surrounding the bus station plaza anxiously awaiting the arrival of Jeron Wilson, Brandon Biebel, Mike Mo Capaldi, Torey Pudwill, Lem Villemin, Danny Brady amoungst others making up the team to put on one of the final demos of the year, drawing to a close of the demo season of 2008. It was a quite short lived demonstration, consisting of a strong T-Block on-slaught from Torey and Biebel, along with various civilian members of the audience challenging Mike Mo to games of “SKATE” trying to succeed in winning, with any victor being awarded with bragging rights of beating an amazing modern day technical wizard! All in all, it was a good, fun, relaxed day of skateboarding, with energetic yet mellow atmosphere throughout! A good show from all there!
Torey Pudwill - BS Flip Nosegrind - MK Buszy Plaza
The undisputed banger of the day! Pudwill executing an absolute “out of the blue” corker of a BS kickflip nosegrind with a magnitude of which I’ve never seen this maneuver made before!
Jeron Wilson - through the crowd - MK
Brandon Biebel - Nollie kickflip tailslide
Biebel was putting these down cleanly all day with effortless style! He barely even lifted his arms! Smooth as you like!
Me shooting along side the greats; the legendary Giovanni Reda and man mountain Leo Sharp!

NB: Update of Uploads: Next week will be seeing visuals from our DC King Of Dublin trip and more so stay tuned..
My name is Nathan Rutherford; I am a photographer from a little seaside, Victorian aged town called Ilfracombe in the rural countryside of North Devon. I predominantly shoot skateboarding and landscape portraiture, spreading over urban wonders and rural beauty. I am currently based splitting my time between my hometown and the thriving city centre of Bristol where I am studying photography at the city college. I contribute work to Sidewalk Skateboard magazine, the UK’s finest and long-lasting skateboard magazine, and shoot freelance for a variety of different publications. Now, after a long awaited time of contemplating, I finally have a site, which will be acting similar to that of an online portfolio or free raining, personal exhibition with constantly updated content. Either way it is now up and running (for the most part) and is live from this very moment! We still have some bits and pieces to work on, as well as having to root through and sort out the majority of the content to upload, so for the time being to kick things off, feast your eyes upon some documented articles and chronicled records of recent events with some of the best UK and European skateboarding talent around!
I’ll be continuing to upload brief articles each week as they come so stay tuned!
